UNITE provides mentorship, promotes leadership & connects high school students to HBCUs while simultaneously connecting current HBCU undergrads to scholarships, internships, & job opportunities
My good friend @drtee_3 founded UNITE in 2011, and I've supported & donated monthly to his organization since like 2014

"For Oak Cliff" understands the impact systemic oppression has on our communities, so they organize to provide & give back to the South Dallas community. So far, they've serviced 45,000+ South Dallas residents, helped 40+ individuals get their GEDs, and given away over 1.9 million lbs of food
I don't know the founders personally, but I've attended and volunteered at a few of their back-to-school drives over the years, and I firmly support and admire what they do for the community. Plus the founder started the organization from his 4th grade classroom in 2014. So as a veteran educator, I admire the initiative and foundation of the project
On August 13th, they're hosting the 8th Annual Back to School Festival w/ a goal to raise $50,000. That's major. And I plan to volunteer. Feel free to join me
