Who Can Participate?

Open to participants ages 6 through adulthood, divided into the following categories:

- 6–9 years (Elementary Level)

- 10–13 years (Middle School Level)

- 14–18 years (High School Level)

- 19 years and above (Adult Level)

Project Specifications

Create a presentation that explores a key aspect of African American history. Each entry will include:

- A trifold science board display with a title, visuals, and text detailing your topic.

- Optional costume representing the historical figure or theme.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be judged on:

1. Historical Accuracy – How well does your research represent the historical topic?

2. Creativity and Presentation – Originality in the display board and costume.

3. Cultural Significance – Relevance to African American history and its impact.

4. Innovation and Diligence – Originality and effort in creating the project.
