Cue the lights and grab the popcorn! Melanin Motions Pictures is hosting its premier screening of "Awakening" and multiple independent short films! Plus, you’ll get to network with creatives.

Short film, Awakening, written and directed by Joy Foster, a Louisville native and a Western Kentucky University film alumni.

Awakening is about a man named Tyreese, a recently released inmate enters a world far from what he remembers. After a recent hypnosis, Tyreese has the ability to see demons that roam the earth.

We’re excited to announce that our exclusive VIP After Party tickets are now available. The After Party starts as soon as the Premier Party ends at 11:00pm EST. Come and meet the filmmakers and rub shoulders with other creatives. This will be a great networking opportunity!
