Come spend the day with us at Black Joy in Bloom: A Family Day of Stories & Play, hosted by FirstRepair and Brown Books & Paintbrushes! This family-friendly event celebrates the beauty of Black joy through storytelling, art, and play. Activities are designed for children ages 3-9, but all are welcome!

Each child will take home one book from the Free Black Children's Library selected to reflect and celebrate Black joy, culture, and creativity. Books will also be available for browsing and borrowing from the library at the National Resource Center for State and Local Reparations.

Registration is required for both children and adults. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your spot.
