Join Residence Life on July 4th for a historic event! The Boston Pops will be performing for the July 4th celebration on the Charles River Esplanade. We will be departing at 7pm from the RSO desk at Speare. The performance will take place at the Hatch Shell. Due to the event usually being fairly crowded and public, there are some allowed/prohibited items. Please review the link www.bso.org. 

In 2017, the Pops opened a new page in its history with the first self-produced Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. Bloomberg, the global business and financial information and news leader, serves as a major sponsor and media partner. The upcoming three years (2024, 2025, 2026) will continue the legacy of this exceptional event, celebrating important regional and national milestones. This includes the 50th anniversary of the Fireworks Spectacular in 2024, Keith Lockhart’s 30th anniversary as Maestro of the Pops in 2025, and the 250th Anniversary of United States Declaration of Independence in 2026.
