Summary

A candid and insightful conversation on the power of authentic allyship to positively impact diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

The African American Leadership Institute invites you to join us for our Breakfast of Leaders Series on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at Vibrant Soul Venue in Round Rock starting at 9a.

The morning will feature a candid and insightful conversation on the power of authentic allyship with a facilitated conversation with the University of Texas History Professor Dr. Leonard Moore, and Mark Updegrove, President and CEO of the LBJ Foundation.

We will discuss race relations in a post-George Floyd America, and how we can all meaningfully impact efforts to promote greater equity and inclusion in Austin. The discussion will be moderated by Leslie Wingo, President, and CEO of advertising agency Sanders\Wingo.

Join us as we take on these critical issues and learn how to take an even greater leadership role as an advocate or ally for inclusion.  The cost of admission includes a New Orleans-inspired catered breakfast with pastry and beverage service.

PLEASE NOTE

We will be observing all Covid19 safety protocols - including socially distanced seating, multiple sanitizing stations and encouragement of wearing of masks when not eating or drinking.
