Join us for the 20th Annual Convention of the Igbo Catholic Community USA (ICCUSA), taking place from Thursday, June 27th to Saturday, June 29th. This milestone event will be held at the Holiday Inn Countryside, located at 6201 Joliet Road, Countryside, IL 60525. We are deeply honored and grateful to ICCUSA for inviting UIU Chicago to participate in all their events. The convention promises a weekend filled with enriching activities, cultural celebrations, and community building.

Please find the full calendar of events in the photos if you choose to participate in any of them. As a UIU Chapter, we are focused on making sure we show up for their three biggest events: (1) City of Chicago Bus Tour / Lunch, (2) Young Adult Mixer, and (3) Gala Night. 

Additionally, bring a feminine product to donate as there will be a donation drive the entire weekend.

Young Adult Mixer

Time: 8pm - 12am
Join us for a fun-filled evening with food and drinks provided. Come ready to play games and bring the vibes for a memorable night of mingling and entertainment.

 

Gala Night

Date: Saturday, June 29
Time: 8:30pm - 12:30am
Dress to impress and experience a glamorous night featuring food and drinks, dance performances, and a fashion show. Nigerian attire is encouraged to celebrate our rich cultural heritage.
