Join us as we educate, activate, and celebrate Juneteenth Freedom Day with activities for all ages. All events are FREE! 

June 15th, Juneteenth Jubilee Detroit will activate the Joseph Walker Williams Community Center. by hosting Liberation For Life. This event will cultivate a space to share resources and information, as well as promote health, wealth, and education. It will feature panel discussions, a marketplace featuring local entrepreneurs, food trucks, fitness installations, a kid’s zone, a collard greens cookoff, and more! 

Then Saturday night, the JJD Juke Joint takes place at Batch Brewing Company on June 15, from 7-10 pm. As part of our annual celebration of Juneteenth Freedom Day, this event promises to be a curated musical experience that transcends time, activating the audience with live performances that honor the rich history of African American music. Featuring performances by the Ron English Band, Ruby Flowers, N Da Pocket, and DJ Anka, attendees can expect a night filled with soulful sounds, vibrant rhythms, and unforgettable moments.
