Join We BE Walkin’ as we take a 4 mile walk through the Burke Lake Trail with The Chesapeake Conservancy. Bring your boots, energy, and reusable water bottle, and let's hike the trails together! We’ll conclude with a short yoga flow and Chill Vibes.
Join We BE Walkin’ as we take a 4 mile walk through the Burke Lake Trail* with The Chesapeake Conservancy. Bring your boots, energy, and reusable water bottle, and let's hike the trails together! We’ll conclude with a short yoga flow and Chill Vibes.
All fitness and yoga experience levels are welcome. Refreshments will be provided at the end of the hike.

Our Yoga Flow Instructor: Devyn, Surrender and Flow
Devyn turned to yoga in 2019 as another outlet to support her healing journey through reconnecting with the body, and became an RYT-200 yoga instructor in 2022. Devyn's personal mission is to guide individuals along their own journey of connecting with the body, mind, heart and spirit through movement. She brings a fluid approach to yoga that focuses on the unification of intentional breath and dynamic flows, accessible to folks with varying levels of experience. Upon completing her certification, Devyn taught Hot 26, Hot Vinyasa, Slow-Flow Vinyasa, and Restorative yoga. Through guided meditations, breathwork, and her soothing handpan, Devyn's classes are deeply meditative with the purpose of encouraging students to get out of their minds and into their bodies.

Chesapeake Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Annapolis, MD that utilizes groundbreaking technology and meaningful partnerships to protect 30% of the Chesapeake Bay watershed by 2030. These protected lands enhance biodiversity and fight climate change. In addition, Chesapeake Conservancy creates parks so all can enjoy and have equitable access to the outdoors and be inspired to be the conservation leaders of tomorrow. About We BE Walkin'
We BE Walkin' was founded in 2022 by Brittney and Esthanette to center the introduction Black, Brown, Indigenous, People of Color to nature and encourage health and wellness while creating experiences for people to facilitate curiosity, create community, and cultivate collaboration.
Note: There is an entrance fee to the park for all visitors without VA ID.
