Summary

Tough times require straight talk about the stress you’re under—at school, at home, on the street with friends. Feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or worthlessness are real, painful, and sometimes severe. The first thing you should know if you are feeling this way is that you are not alone.

The Junior One Hundred Mentorship program of the One Hundred Black Men of New York in partnership with Mt. Sinai Hospital presents a youth health summit. This event is an opportunity for young people to utilize their youth voice to discuss mental wealth, depression, body image, peer pressure, anxiety, and much more. Youth will receive resources that will allow them to be their best selves emotionally, mentally, and physically.

Take an hour to join a gathering of teens on YouTUBE by typing in "Teen Summit on Mental Wealth" and meet others who are struggling with their own or their friends’ mental and emotional health issues. This is a safe, brave space where you will hear from others who are curious how to tap into their thoughts and feelings, cope with the stresses of life, and discover how to be their best selves.
