I RUN FOR QUEST!

October 03, 2020 AT 08:00 AM - October 03, 2020 AT 02:00 PM

About Event

WELCOME TO "I RUN FOR QUEST".  Our event is MOSTLY VIRTUAL and ON YOUR OWN TIME!  It has FIVE OPPORTUNITIES for you to ENGAGE WITH AND BECOME PART OF THE QUEST COMMUNITY!
This is your opportunity to support  Quest Charter Academy: (1) at whatever level is comfortable for you; (2) with a flexible schedule for your participation, and (3) offering traditional opportunities for your support, too!
Quest is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization.  Your contribution is tax deductible.
Here's how you can choose to support Quest beginning NOW through October:

1.  VIRTUAL FITNESS PARTICIPATION - Place a personal value on your running, jogging, walking, swimming, cycling, treadmilling, weightlifting, kayaking... beginning right away and through October. When you run, jog or walk, how many laps, miles or blocks are involved?  What about the length of time?  Your fitness is valuable to you.  Can  you place a monetary value on it and donate that to Quest?  For example:  100 laps over the next few weeks through October might be worth $1 per lap?  Your personal quest with fitness can benefit the operational needs of Quest Charter Academy.  Your commitment to both can be essential, now, to the financial well-being of Peoria's only charter academy.

2   IN-PERSON TRAILBLAZING AT DONOVAN PARK -  Saturday, October 3, Quest will host up to 50 participants for each of these times:  8am, 10am, Noon and 2pm.  Registration donation is $25.  A "free shirt" will be provided courtesy of the folks who produce Whiskeydaddle.  Your registration is nonrefundable should there be inclement weather or the pandemic requires Illinois to return to Phase 4, which would severely limit the number of participants in this event.

3.  QUEST SPIRITWEAR SUNNERS POLO SHIRT - A donation of $25 will get you a pale blue Quest Spiritwear Runners Polo Shirt.  Emblazoned across the front is the I RUN FOR QUEST RUNNERS LOGO.  This shirt also qualifies alongside the Quest uniform apparel worn by students and staff at our middle and high schools.

4.  "THE ULTIMATE GIFT" BOOK PERSONALIZED BY THE AUTHOR - A donation of $25 will get you a copy of this bestselling book by Jim Stovall, inspirational speaker, author and filmmaker.  A story of a young person's journey of a lifetime of self-discovery, outlined by these 12 gifts:  work, money, friends, learning, problems, family, laughter, dreams, giving!
5.  LIVE VIDEO STREAMING PRESENTATION WITH JIM STOVALL - Saturday, October 3, 6-7:30pm, join author Jim Stovall's presentation followed by Questions & Answers with Quest students.  We offer this live presentation free of charge...however, your donation in any amount will go straight to the operational needs of Quest Charter Academy
