We’re doing something big for the community this Black History Month on Sunday, February 28th! The @jeremyscullarkfoundation, @thatcolournails, and @true.chi present Surviving Siblings of Gun Violence. This charitable event is for all inner-city kids who were siblings of victims of gun violence. They need to know they’re loved and not forgotten. Bring the kids ages 12-21. Mask will be mandatory.
We will have guest speakers, raffle off prizes, scholarships, and more! Qualified youth will also have a chance to be an apprentice at True Star magazine.
Location: That Color Nails @thatcolournails
Inside The Water Tower Place 5th Floor
Time: 12-6pm
JSF is peer lead to change the mindset of our youth. Behavior is influenced by interactions with others! We take a proactive approach to the problem of violence as a way to encourage change by exposing diversity and social identity to future leaders. See Better, Be Better. Donations are welcome Jeremy Scullark Foundation
Special manicures and facials will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. Any size donations are welcome. See Better, Be Better. This one’s for the youth!
