Summary

Chef Harlem Wright is an eleven-year hospitality industry veteran, culinary entrepreneur, long-time gardener, and lead epicure at Just Playted, a full-service culinary production company based in Washington D.C. Harlem is enthusiastic about curating high-level dining experiences in non-traditional spaces, while infusing community building and educational aspects into her work. Her main inspiration is bringing an element of play into the typically serious culture of elevated food service.
 
Harlem is excited to collaborate with Shanklin Hall for the "Cackalackey" culinary pop-up. The menu is inspired by her North and South Carolina (Cackalackey) roots while thoughtfully infusing Southeast Asian and Mexican flavors, as an ode to her favorite cuisine and her time spent living in Southern California.
